Sanskar Saraswat, Tanvi Sharma bag badminton titles

Rajasthan’s Sanskar Saraswat and PNB’s Tanvi Sharma won the U-19 titles for boys and girls, respectively, on the final day of the Smt.

Krishna Khaitan Memorial All India Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Sector 3.

In the boys’ final, Saraswat defeated Delhi’s Ginpaul S in straight games, 21-11, 21-12. Meanwhile, Tanvi secured her title with a 21-19, 21-13 victory over Haryana’s Medhavi Nagar.

Lalramsanga C and Vishakha Toopo triumphed in the mixed doubles final, defeating Mithileish P Krishnan and Manya Ralhan with scores of 21-18, 21-14.

In the girls’ doubles, Diya Beemaiah B and Baruni Parshwal claimed the title by beating Pragati Parida and Vishaka Toppo 21-14, 21-13.

In the boys’ U-19 doubles final, Vinayakram GP and Swastik Matharasan made a comeback to win against Sanskar and Arsh Mohammad, finishing with scores of 18-21, 21-19, 21-16.
