The Indiana Pacers received encouraging news regarding Andrew Nembhard’s shoulder injury. An MRI revealed no major damage, and the team expects he won’t be sidelined long-term, according to Marc Stein.
Nembhard injured his shoulder during the season opener, joining a growing injury list for the Pacers, which includes Bennedict Mathurin, Taelon Peter, Obi Toppin, and veteran T.J. McConnell (who isn’t expected back until November 9).
Despite these setbacks, Indiana is hopeful Nembhard can return soon to help stabilize their lineup.
