Despite earlier speculation, Golden State Warriors star Jimmy Butler is unlikely to be included in any potential trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo. According to The Stein Line, the Warriors’ pursuit of Giannis probably won’t involve Butler following his season-ending knee injury on January 19.
With Butler sidelined, the Warriors are reportedly more likely to consider including Draymond Green, who has been made available in trade discussions.
Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks are seeking top-tier young talent and/or multiple draft picks in exchange for their superstar. The team isn’t rushing a decision and is expected to hold out for maximum value.
