Nikola Vucevic finally translated his individual brilliance into team success as Montenegro secured their first win of the tournament, outlasting Sweden 87-81. The veteran big man delivered a dominant all-around performance with 23 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks — finishing with an impressive efficiency rating of 40.
On the other side, Pelle Larsson did everything he could to push Sweden into the knockout stage, pouring in 28 points alongside 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Despite his efforts, Sweden fell short, missing a key chance to advance.
Tristan Da Silva earned his place among the top performers as Germany dismantled Great Britain 120-57, recording the largest EuroBasket victory margin since 1963. Da Silva posted a double-double with 18 points and 10 assists, while also contributing 5 rebounds and 2 blocks in the blowout win.
It’s no surprise to see Alperen Sengun in the Player of the Day conversation once again. Türkiye’s star continued his outstanding form with 21 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists in a comfortable 84-64 win over Estonia, pushing Türkiye to a perfect 4-0 record.
Serbia also maintained their unbeaten run, cruising past Czechia 82-60. With qualification for the Round of 16 already secured, coach Svetislav Pesic rotated the lineup — but Aleksa Avramovic stood out with 14 points, 3 rebounds, and 8 assists in under 23 minutes.
