One of the Milwaukee Bucks’ key players is facing significant health concerns. Damian Lillard is out indefinitely due to a serious medical condition.
According to insider Shams Charania, the point guard has been diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis in his right calf, and the timeline for his recovery remains unclear.
The statement reads: “Lillard is on blood thinners that have stabilized the clot and will continue to undergo regular check-ups. He is out indefinitely.”
Lillard himself acknowledged the tough situation, expressing frustration over his inability to control the circumstances. He also thanked the team for their swift response and dedication to his health.
So far this season, Lillard has been averaging 24.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 7.1 assists per game.
In other injury news, Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum was forced to leave the court during the third quarter of his last game after taking a hard foul. He suffered a right ankle injury but returned to the court briefly, making one of two free throws before exiting.
