An intriguing situation has arisen with the Bosnian basketball club Sutjeska, based in Foča. As reported by klix.ba, the club has arranged for one of its players to stay in a motel located within a prison facility in Foča. This decision was made due to the soaring rental prices in the area, although the player’s name has not been revealed.
Recently, BK Sutjeska took to their official Facebook page to express their gratitude to Bojan Koštić, the acting director of the penitentiary facility in Foča, for providing housing for the club’s players at reduced rates.
“We would like to extend our thanks to the administration of the Foča Correctional Facility, led by Bojan Koštić, for accommodating the Sutjeska basketball club’s players at minimal prices. In light of the current high rental costs in our city, this support will greatly assist the club’s operations and contribute to our continued development. Thank you for your support!” the statement reads.
Last season, Sutjeska finished eighth in the RS First League.
