PFL heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou shared a heartfelt reflection on coping with the loss of his one-and-a-half-year-old son, who passed away in April.
“When it happened, I realized I’m not as tough as I thought,” Ngannou said in an interview with Championship Rounds. “You ask yourself, ‘Will this ever end?’ You think it never will, and you just have to learn to live with it… I don’t think a lifetime is enough to grieve.”
Ngannou recently returned to MMA, claiming the PFL championship title with a first-round knockout of Renan Ferreira at the “Battle of Giants” in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
