UFC champion Francis Ngannou has discussed potential opponents for his next boxing match.
“I don’t have a specific name in mind right now. It really depends on the situation when I return, but I wouldn’t hesitate to mention names like Deontay Wilder or a rematch with Fury. I’m open to anything that makes sense. Deontay Wilder is definitely a name that interests me,” Ngannou told Boxing Social.
In addition, Ngannou has accused Dana White of dishonesty towards him.
Ngannou has competed in professional boxing twice, losing a closely contested match against Tyson Fury and getting knocked out in his fight with Anthony Joshua. That match ended in the second round when the referee stopped the fight after Ngannou was knocked down by a punch from AJ.
Following these bouts, the Cameroonian-French fighter announced his return to MMA and is set to face Renan Ferreira on October 19th.
