American heavyweight boxer Jarrell Miller shared his thoughts on Daniel Dubois’ knockout victory over former champion Anthony Joshua, which earned Dubois the IBF heavyweight title.
“I told you what I was hoping for: Daniel has a stronger chin, he’s more durable, and he’s hungrier. Joshua has a lot of money, but you can only kiss so much ass. If he had been fighting anyone else, the referee would have stopped the fight. They gave Anthony plenty of chances to recover, calling it a knockdown. I’m glad Joshua was knocked out like that,” said Miller.
Reminder: Dubois defended his IBF world heavyweight title with great confidence, while Joshua surprisingly had no answers for his fellow countryman, resulting in a knockout in the fifth round.
