According to Sky Sports, Joshua could challenge the winner of the upcoming fight between Zhilei Zhang and Agit Kabayel for the WBC interim title. With his sixth-place ranking in the WBC standings, Joshua is positioned as a strong contender for this opportunity.
“Absolutely. This opens up opportunities for more fights,” said WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman.
Recently, promoter Eddie Hearn discussed Joshua’s career plans for 2025, including some bold statements about his future path. Hearn also hinted at a potential timeline for Joshua’s return to the ring, sparking excitement among fans.
