Beau Greaves continued her dominant run in the PDC Women’s Series by securing another title on Saturday afternoon in Milton Keynes. The 21-year-old triumphed in the seventeenth event of the series, defeating fellow Englishwoman Fallon Sherrock 5-3 in the final.
Nicknamed ‘Beau ’n Arrow’, Greaves kicked off her campaign in spectacular fashion, averaging 105.47 in a commanding 4-0 victory over Portugal’s Marlene Barcelos in the last 64. She maintained her momentum throughout the day, overcoming Grace Ferridge (4-0), Lisa Ashton (4-1), Aileen de Graaf (5-2), and Gemma Hayter (5-2) on her way to the final.
Sherrock also impressed on her route to the last match. She began with a 4-0 win over Tracey Heppinstall in the last 128, then followed up with dominant performances against Chelsea Campbell (4-0), Felicia Blay (4-0), Paige Pauling (4-1), Deta Hedman (5-0), and Noa-Lynn van Leuven (5-1).
In the final, however, it was Greaves who emerged victorious, once again proving why she holds the women’s world champion title.
