The Flanders Darts Trophy is scheduled to take place from August 29 to 31, 2025, marking the 10th European Tour event of the season. The tournament features a total prize fund of £175,000, with the winner set to take home £30,000.
Last year, Dave Chisnall celebrated a milestone by winning the title in his 100th European Tour event, edging out Ricardo Pietreczko 8–6 in the final during the tournament’s debut in Antwerp.
This year, Luke Littler will make a highly anticipated return to the European Tour after boycotting most of the German events earlier in the season following a disappointing reception. This tournament will be his first ranking event since the World Matchplay, marking an important comeback.
Among the other top players expected to compete are Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, and Gerwyn Price, making this one of the most star-studded European Tour events in recent memory.

Important Rule Changes
This year introduces a new rule affecting seeded players: those who lose in the second round will not have their prize money counted towards the Order of Merit. However, if a qualifier later becomes a seed due to a withdrawal, their prize money will count regardless of how far they progress.
Additionally, the top 16 players on the Order of Merit now qualify automatically, which has shifted the tournament schedule. ProTour players will compete on Friday, while the big names play on Saturday. This change has been widely criticized for protecting top players. However, many top stars have skipped events due to Premier League commitments, giving opportunities to emerging players to shine.
