Some very sad news has come from America as former PDC World Darts Championship participant and Tour Card holder Danny Baggish has shared on social media that his baby has been diagnosed with leukemia. In an emotional post on his X account (formerly Twitter), Baggish opened up about the heartbreaking situation, expressing his shock and devastation.
“They say things happen for a reason. I can’t find the reason here,” Baggish wrote. “I’m heartbroken, shattered and everything you can think of. I’m all over the place. Thank you to everyone that reached out. Our baby diagnosed with leukemia. Long fight ahead of us. Mommy and I love you so much.” The news quickly garnered an outpouring of support from the darts community.
Australian world number eight, Damon Heta, was among the first to offer his condolences. “I’m so sorry to hear mate that’s absolutely heartbreaking news to read,” Heta commented. “I’m here if you or the family need anything.” Luke Woodhouse also expressed his sympathy, saying, “So sorry mate… horrible news and something a parent should never have to go through. Sending thoughts to your family.” Paul Nicholson joined in, offering his support: “Loads of love sent to your family Danny. Be strong and we are all here if you need more.”
At Sportsmacro, we would also like to send our heartfelt best wishes to Danny Baggish and his family during this incredibly difficult time. Our thoughts are with them as they face this challenging journey ahead.
