Luke Humphries showcased his dominance in the quarter-finals of the 2024 European Championship in Dortmund, defeating Jonny Clayton 10-3 with an impressive performance. The world champion and current number one continued his strong form, having already made a statement by beating Nathan Aspinall in the first round with a 106 average.

In a tightly contested opening session, Humphries led 3-2, despite averaging around 20 points more than Clayton. However, the second session saw Humphries pull away decisively, winning all five legs to extend his lead to 8-2. Although Clayton managed to grab one leg back, it was not enough to challenge Humphries, who closed out the match with a final score of 10-3.

Humphries will face Jermaine Wattimena in the quarter-finals after the Dutchman edged out James Wade in a thrilling deciding leg. With Humphries in such top form, fans can expect an exciting clash in the next round.
