The Junior Hunter National Championships (JHNC) feature championships at 3’3″ and 3’6″ heights for small and large hunters, catering to riders in two age groups: 15 & Under and 16-17. The competition consists of three phases: a classic round, an under saddle phase, and a handy hunter round. The national champion title is determined by a weighted total score from these three phases.
Both national championships attract the nation’s top junior hunter horses, bringing together junior riders from across the country for a vibrant and competitive experience. The events are livestreamed on the USEF Network, allowing equestrian fans worldwide to enjoy the action as it unfolds.
