US Equestrian has confirmed that the 2026 USEF Grand Prix Dressage National Championship will be held at the World Equestrian Center (WEC) in Ocala, Florida, from May 13–17, 2026. The prestigious event will give qualified horse-and-rider combinations the chance to compete in the electrifying atmosphere of WEC’s Grand Arena for the coveted national title.
“This championship deserves to stand on its own as one of the premier events for our sport,” said Chef d’Equipe Christine Traurig. “It will also play a role in our selection process for the World Championships. Having all top contenders perform under the same conditions, with the same panel of judges, mirrors the international stage they will face in Aachen, Germany. WEC offers the perfect venue to prepare our combinations while providing an exceptional experience for athletes, spectators, and supporters.”
On behalf of the Roberts family, Roby Roberts expressed enthusiasm for hosting the event: “We are honored to welcome the USEF Grand Prix Dressage National Championship to WEC – Ocala. This competition represents the pinnacle of American dressage, and we are proud to offer a stage worthy of its excellence. With our world-class facilities and commitment to quality, we are excited to create an unforgettable championship for riders, horses, and fans.”
The qualification period opens September 1, 2025, with riders required to achieve qualifying scores at FEI-sanctioned events to secure a place in the championship.
