US Equestrian is reminding organizers of combined driving events in the U.S. that the deadline to submit applications for the following is July 1, 2025:
-
Bid applications for the 2026 USEF Combined Driving National Championships
-
Applications for the 2026 U.S. Driving FEI Calendar
Organizers interested in hosting a 2026 USEF Combined Driving National Championship must apply according to the established criteria, which were developed by the Driving Sport Committee and approved by the USEF Board of Directors. These guidelines include requirements related to eligibility, class offerings, and organizational standards for host venues.
While all athletes and equines are welcome to participate in associated competition classes, only those who meet the outlined criteria will be eligible for National Championship titles (see DC 928.2.1.2 for participation details).
Applications will be evaluated on several factors, including adherence to competition standards, the quality of experience offered to both athletes and spectators, and alignment with US Equestrian values.
For FEI competitions, applications for inclusion in the 2026 U.S. Driving FEI Calendar must also be submitted by July 1, 2025, through the USEF Competition Dashboard at competitions.usef.org. Organizers are encouraged to review the U.S. FEI Driving Calendar Policies and Procedures document for comprehensive guidance on the application and approval process.
