Former Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho has declared Chelsea the best football team in the world shortly after completing his move to Stamford Bridge.
Garnacho signed a seven-year contract with Chelsea in a deal reportedly worth around £40 million, which also includes a 10% sell-on clause in favor of Manchester United.
Speaking to Chelsea’s official website, Garnacho said,
“It’s an incredible moment for my family and me to join this great club. I can’t wait to get started. I watched the Club World Cup, and to join the world champions is special — we’re the best team in the world! It’s amazing to be here.”
Meanwhile, another former Manchester United player, Rasmus Højlund, is set to complete a move to Napoli within hours, with a verbal agreement already reached between the parties involved.
