Tomorrow, October 19, Real Madrid will face Celta Vigo away in the 10th round of La Liga. The spotlight is on Kylian Mbappé, who is currently under investigation by Swedish police for alleged sexual misconduct. Real Madrid’s head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, was asked to comment on the situation surrounding the French star.
Ancelotti declined to discuss Mbappé’s legal issues but emphasized that the forward returned from his break in excellent form.
“Kylian Mbappé is feeling very good. He’s happy and needed these 15 days of rest. He’s a different player than before the international break—you can see that.”
Reports yesterday suggested that new evidence could support Mbappé’s innocence in the case.
Mbappé has scored five goals in the first eight La Liga matches this season, three of which came from penalties.
