Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has revealed that the club’s decision to sign Eberechi Eze was driven by the desire to add a new attacking dimension to the squad.
The Gunners officially announced the arrival of the 27-year-old England international from Crystal Palace on Saturday, in a deal reportedly worth £67.5 million. Eze has been handed the iconic number 10 shirt at the Emirates.
“Eberechi is a powerful and exciting player who will bring something different to our attacking play,” Arteta said in a statement on the club’s website.
“His journey, his mentality, and his ambition align perfectly with what we’re building at Arsenal.”
