The reputable website Transfermarkt has recently updated the transfer values of Serie A players, highlighting the league’s array of talented African footballers. Sportsmacro has compiled a list of the top five most valuable African players currently playing in Serie A based on this data.

This ranking includes only players who have made their debut for their national teams. Players with African citizenship representing non-African national teams or those who haven’t played for an African team were excluded from this selection.

1. Odilon Kossounou (Atalanta) – The Ivorian defender retains the top spot despite a €5 million decrease in value, with his current market price at €30 million.

2. Ismaël Bennacer (AC Milan) – The Algerian midfielder ranks second with a valuation of €18 million, experiencing a significant drop from his previous price of €30 million.
