Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has agreed to join Bayern Munich on loan, but the deal is on hold as the Blues monitor Alexander Isak’s potential move to Liverpool.
Chelsea are eager to offload Jackson before the summer transfer window closes at midnight on Monday. The 23-year-old Senegal international has drawn interest from Bayern Munich, Newcastle United, and Aston Villa.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern are in advanced talks with Chelsea and have offered to cover Jackson’s full wages as part of the loan agreement. However, Chelsea are yet to greenlight the move.
The delay stems from ongoing transfer developments involving Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, who is reportedly on strike to push through a transfer to Liverpool. Chelsea are watching the situation closely, hoping it could open the door for Newcastle to make a permanent bid for Jackson.
While Bayern are pushing for a loan, Chelsea are said to be holding out for a better offer, ideally a permanent transfer — particularly if Newcastle decide to replace Isak before the window closes.
