Falconets forward, Chiamaka Okwuchukwu, has shared her admiration for Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Okwuchukwu, a standout player for Nigeria in the ongoing 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, expressed her desire to meet the former Manchester United forward. She mentioned that she would love to have a “good handshake” with Ronaldo.
At just 16 years old, Okwuchukwu also dreams of one day playing for Manchester United.
“I admire Cristiano Ronaldo a lot, and it’s a dream of mine to play for Manchester United. One of my biggest dreams is to meet Ronaldo, even if it’s just to have a good handshake,” the striker told FIFA.com.
Okwuchukwu has already made her mark in the tournament, scoring two goals and providing one assist in three appearances for Nigeria in Colombia 2024.
The Falconets are set to face Japan on Friday morning.
