Despite the French Football Federation’s appeal committee ruling that PSG must pay Kylian Mbappé €55 million, the star forward should temper his celebrations. The Parisian club is determined to contest the decision.
RMC Sport reports that PSG plans to escalate the issue to a civil court. A club representative stated that the payment will not be made, claiming that Mbappé did not fulfill certain contractual obligations.
PSG considers Mbappé’s claims to be a breach of contract and is ready to defend its position in court while seeking damages from their former player.
Reminder: It was previously reported that PSG owes Mbappé €55 million in back wages since April, along with additional bonuses.
