Brighton forward Danny Welbeck continues to impress fans despite his age. In today’s eighth-round match, the 33-year-old striker achieved a significant milestone.
Welbeck scored the opening goal in the 35th minute, assisted by Rutter, marking his 72nd goal in the Premier League. He also boasts 28 assists, bringing his total goal contributions to 100 points (goals + assists).
The former Arsenal and Manchester United player has already scored five goals this season, equaling his tally from last season, which took him 29 matches to achieve.
