Crystal Palace attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze is no longer available for a fixed fee after his £60 million release clause — with £8 million in potential add-ons — officially expired with the start of the Premier League season on Friday.
The 27-year-old England international has attracted interest from both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur during the summer transfer window. However, any club now hoping to secure Eze’s services will have to negotiate directly with Crystal Palace, as the release clause is no longer active.
Eze remains a key figure at Selhurst Park, and Palace are expected to demand a premium for one of their most influential players.
Man United’s Toby Collyer Joins West Brom on Loan
In a separate development, Manchester United have confirmed that young midfielder Toby Collyer will spend the 2025–26 season on loan at Championship side West Bromwich Albion.
Collyer, 21, joined United’s Academy in March 2022 and made 13 first-team appearances last season. He also made his Premier League debut in the high-profile clash against Liverpool last September.
The loan move is aimed at providing Collyer with regular senior football as he continues his development.
