Bayern Munich’s 3-3 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt came with a setback, as two key players left the pitch due to injuries. Harry Kane was substituted in the second half after suffering discomfort in his right thigh following a collision. Additionally, Dayot Upamecano had to be replaced, adding to Bayern’s injury concerns.
Bayern’s head coach Vincent Kompany remains optimistic that the injuries are not severe.
“It’s too early to make any conclusions about Harry’s injury, but we’re hopeful it’s not serious. The same goes for Upamecano. This week has really pushed our squad, but if the injuries aren’t too bad, it’s a positive sign for the season.”
Bayern and RB Leipzig are tied for first place in the Bundesliga with 14 points after six rounds. Kane is set to join England for their upcoming Nations League matches.
