Chelsea Head Coach Enzo Maresca Praises Robert Sánchez’s Performance Despite 2-1 Loss to Liverpool
Despite Chelsea’s 2-1 defeat to Liverpool, head coach Enzo Maresca expressed satisfaction with goalkeeper Robert Sánchez’s performance. “I am very pleased with Robert Sánchez; he has been excellent with us. Not only in building play from the back but also in ball recovery,” Maresca stated.
Maresca also justified his decision to start captain Reece James, who made his season debut after recovering from an injury.
The loss leaves Chelsea in sixth place with 14 points in the league table.
