Former Arsenal defender Lee Dixon has called on his old club to consider signing Angel Gomes from Lille next year. Dixon believes Gomes could be a strong addition to Arsenal’s midfield, complementing Declan Rice.
Speaking to plejmo.com, Dixon noted, “I think Angel Gomes would fit in at Arsenal superbly. His qualities are clear to see. He’s a very good link-up player, and we’ve seen he can play well alongside Declan Rice.”
He added, “He has a lot of potential, and I could definitely see him at Arsenal next season.”
