Tottenham Hotspur manager, Thomas Frank has shared his thoughts on his team’s impressive 2-0 victory against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
Spurs secured the win thanks to goals from Brennan Johnson and João Palhinha, a result that puts Tottenham at the top of the Premier League table with six points from two matches.
Reflecting on the game during his post-match interview, Frank highlighted Tottenham’s strong second-half display after taking the lead.
“The first 45 minutes were fairly even, with City having a slight edge. We scored a great goal,” Frank said. “In the second half, I think we were very good.”
He added, “I’m proud of my players and their performance. It was extraordinary. We know it’s always tough to play at the Etihad.”
