Turkish giants Fenerbahçe have entered the race to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, who is also a top transfer target for Galatasaray this summer.
According to Ekol Sports, Fenerbahçe’s president Ali Koç has submitted the highest offer to Napoli in a bid to secure the Nigerian international’s signature. The bold move comes as Galatasaray awaited a decision from the player, having already made their own approach to both Osimhen and Napoli.
Osimhen, who spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, played a crucial role in the club’s domestic double, helping them lift both the Turkish Super Lig title and the Turkish Cup. Despite this success, the 25-year-old forward has yet to make a final decision on his future and is currently enjoying his summer break.
The former African Player of the Year continues to draw attention across Europe and beyond, with Juventus, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Al Hilal all reportedly monitoring his situation.
Sources close to the player suggest that while a move to one of Europe’s elite clubs remains his top priority, Osimhen is open to returning to Galatasaray on a permanent basis should that not materialize during this transfer window.
