Brandon Williams, a former Manchester United player currently without a club, could face up to two years in prison.
According to the Daily Mail, the footballer admitted to speeding and dangerous driving, reaching a speed of 99 miles per hour. As a result, he is facing legal consequences, with a possible two-year prison sentence. Fortunately, prosecutors noted that no one was injured during the incident. Williams’ sentence will be announced on May 9.
In other news, former Barcelona and PSG defender Dani Alves was recently linked to a sexual assault case but avoided punishment. The court determined that the victim’s testimony lacked sufficient evidence for a conviction.
Additionally, Pumas is seeking 5 million euros in compensation for breach of contract after terminating Alves’ agreement in January 2023, following his arrest on rape charges.
