Former Chelsea, Leicester, and France national team midfielder N’Golo Kante continues to make a significant impact through charitable efforts. The Al-Ittihad midfielder has recently initiated the construction of a medical center in Mali.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Kante is personally funding the project, contributing a generous $5 million to bring the medical center to life. This is just the latest example of Kante’s commitment to charity; he has previously invested in building schools and kindergartens in Mali. Though born in France, Kante has strong ties to Mali, as his parents are originally from the African country.
In other news, Kante’s former teammate, Paul Pogba, celebrated his birthday with tennis and basketball stars in a lively celebration.
As a reminder, Kante has been playing for Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League since 2023. The 34-year-old midfielder is in strong contention to help his club become the country’s champion, with Al-Ittihad currently holding a 4-point lead over their main rival, Al-Hilal.
