PSG suffered a 0-2 defeat against Arsenal in their second Champions League group stage match yesterday, drawing heavy criticism in France for their lack of attacking intensity. After the game, head coach Luis Enrique was questioned about his team’s strategy, but his response fueled widespread dissatisfaction.
The Spanish coach bluntly remarked that he didn’t owe anyone an explanation, and his interaction with a Canal+ journalist became particularly tense.
“I have no intention of explaining the tactical aspect because you probably wouldn’t understand it. We’re working on fixing several issues as a team, but I don’t feel the need to explain anything,” Enrique stated.
PSG currently leads Ligue 1 with 16 points from six matches, tied with Monaco at the top of the table.
