Antonio Conte has launched a new company to manage his image rights, which could signal his intention to leave Napoli in the near future.
According to Calciomercato.com, the indication of his possible departure came with the registration of a new company, Restate Srl, in Turin on April 1st. The company was co-founded with his brother, Daniele, and is officially focused on the acquisition, management, and oversight of image rights both in Italy and internationally.
This move raises eyebrows, as Napoli traditionally requires all players and coaches to transfer their image rights to the club as part of their contracts. By setting up his own company to handle these rights, Conte may be signaling plans to cut ties with the club.
The coach has openly criticized Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis for the lack of investment in infrastructure and has expressed dissatisfaction with the club’s transfer policy. While Conte’s contract doesn’t include a termination clause, he could still potentially end the agreement by mutual consent, which would allow him to forgo the remainder of his salary.
