Bayern Munich and German national team midfielder Joshua Kimmich has reached a significant milestone. The seventh-round Bundesliga match against Stuttgart was particularly noteworthy for the 29-year-old player.
Kimmich started in this match, marking his 400th appearance for Bayern. According to the analytical platform Opta Franz, since his debut in August 2015, only Thomas Müller has played more Bundesliga games, with 411.
During his career at Bayern, Kimmich has scored 42 goals and secured numerous titles, including eight Bundesliga championships and the UEFA Champions League.
Interestingly, Kimmich is on track to enter the top 10 players with the most matches for Bayern. Recently, Thomas Müller surpassed Sepp Maier to take the top spot in this symbolic ranking.
Additionally, if Bayern secures a victory against Stuttgart, they will draw level with the league leaders, Leipzig, and reclaim the top position in the Bundesliga standings.
