As the excitement builds ahead of the highly anticipated El Clasico between Real Madrid and Barcelona on October 26, Barcelona winger Marcus Rashford opened up about his feelings ahead of his first-ever encounter in the iconic rivalry.
Having joined Barcelona this summer, Rashford expressed his enthusiasm for the big occasion:
“A match against Real Madrid is a huge occasion—this is exactly why I came here. I’m really looking forward to it.”
Heading into matchday 10, Real Madrid leads La Liga with 24 points, closely followed by Barcelona in second place with 22. So far this season, Rashford has featured in 12 games for Barcelona, contributing five goals and five assists.
