Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca has confirmed that Romeo Lavia and Benoit Badiashile will miss Friday’s Premier League match against West Ham United due to injury.
However, Maresca revealed that Tosin Adarabioyo and Wesley Fofana will be available for the game at the London Stadium.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Thursday, the Italian coach provided a squad update:
“Tosin is available for tomorrow,” Maresca said.
“I was a bit surprised because last week, when he wasn’t available, the media reported it widely. Now, I’m not sure why there’s confusion about him being available! But yes, he is fit to play.
“Romeo is still out and won’t feature in this game. Benoit is also unavailable. Wes is back, as I mentioned, and that’s all.”
Chelsea come into the fixture after a goalless draw with Crystal Palace, while West Ham suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat to Sunderland in their previous outing.
The match kicks off at 8 p.m. Nigerian time.
