Over a year ago, Neymar sustained a cruciate ligament injury in his knee, sidelining him from the pitch. However, after a long recovery, the Brazilian star has finally been named in Al-Hilal’s squad and could feature in their upcoming AFC Champions League match against Al-Ain.
For weeks, photos and videos of Neymar in team training have surfaced online, signaling his comeback. Fans’ anticipation has finally been rewarded, with Al-Hilal confirming Neymar’s inclusion in the squad for the trip to Al-Ain.
The match is scheduled for October 21 at 18:00 CET. While it’s unclear whether Neymar will play, his presence suggests he may get some minutes to test his fitness.
Neymar joined Al-Hilal in August last year from Paris Saint-Germain for €90 million but has played only five matches, scoring once. His contract with the club runs until the end of the season.
