Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku has arrived in Italy as he prepares to join AC Milan.
As reported by Sky Italy, the French international is set to undergo his medical today after Chelsea agreed to a deal with the Serie A side that could rise to over £36 million.
Nkunku’s switch to San Siro is part of Chelsea’s continued efforts to reshape their squad before the transfer window closes.
Meanwhile, in a separate move, RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons is on the verge of completing a move to Tottenham Hotspur, with the Dutch midfielder scheduled to undergo a medical ahead of his transfer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Spurs have reached an agreement with Leipzig for a fee of €60 million, securing Simons’ signature ahead of Premier League rivals Chelsea, who were also in the race for the 21-year-old.
Both London clubs had shown strong interest in Simons this summer, but it’s Tottenham who have successfully landed the highly-rated playmaker.
