Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has firmly stated that he will not alter his tactical approach at the Premier League club—no matter what.

Amorim joked that not even the Pope could persuade him to change his system.

The 40-year-old also expressed concern about how the players might react if he were to switch tactics.

“No, no, no,” Amorim said. “Not once have I thought about changing. Not even the Pope can make me—it simply won’t happen.”

Despite managing the team with a 3-4-2-1 formation, Amorim currently holds the worst win percentage of any Manchester United manager since World War II.

Additionally, under his leadership, the Red Devils have endured their poorest Premier League start in 33 years.
