Huesca have officially requested the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) to postpone their Matchday 10 Segunda División fixture against Real Sociedad B, originally scheduled for Saturday, October 18.
The club confirmed that the RFEF has approved the request and will reschedule the match for a later date. The decision comes after a gastrointestinal virus outbreak affected the majority of Huesca’s squad, leaving the team unable to meet the minimum player requirements.
Medical staff advised against holding the match, citing health concerns and the difficulty of ensuring proper safety measures under the current circumstances.
