Chelsea continued their winning run with a 3–0 away victory against Nottingham Forest in Premier League Matchweek 9, thanks to goals from Acheampong, Neto, and James.
But despite the comfortable scoreline, the match was once again marred by disciplinary trouble. In the 87th minute, Malo Gusto picked up a second yellow card and was sent off, adding to Chelsea’s growing list of red cards this season. Manager Enzo Maresca, already suspended, watched the match from the stands.
Gusto’s dismissal was Chelsea’s fifth red card of the campaign, following earlier sendings-off for Robert Sánchez, Trevoh Chalobah, and João Pedro.
Adding to their concerns, star midfielder Enzo Fernández was unavailable for the game due to injury.
