Yesterday, reports emerged regarding Real Madrid’s interest in Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes, prompting a response from “Red Devils” head coach Ruben Amorim.
According to the Portuguese manager, the prospect of Fernandes joining Madrid is completely out of the question.
Amorim stated:
“Bruno Fernandes to Real Madrid? That won’t happen. He is not going anywhere.
Someday, we want to win the Premier League again. That’s why we want the best players to stay with us… And Bruno is not leaving, I’ve already told him.”
Bruno Fernandes has been with Manchester United since January 2020. This season, he has scored 16 goals and provided 16 assists in 44 appearances.
In related news, it was revealed yesterday that Manchester United does not plan to bring back Marcus Rashford, who is currently on loan at Aston Villa.
