Two days ago, the legendary Jose Mourinho became involved in a high-profile scandal that could lead to serious repercussions.
According to Foot Mercato, Mourinho could face a suspension for the rest of the season after an incident in which he grabbed the nose of Galatasaray’s head coach, Okan Buruk, following a loss in the Turkish Cup.
If the disciplinary committee considers Mourinho’s actions unsporting, he could be suspended for three games. However, if deemed an act of aggression, the suspension could extend to anywhere from 5 to 10 matches.
With nine games remaining in the Turkish Super League, Fenerbahçe is trailing league leaders Galatasaray by 5 points, though they have one game in hand.
