On Sunday, September 15, Cagliari faced Roma in a Serie A match, which ended with Roma’s head coach receiving a red card.
According to SPORTS MACRO, the Roma coach will serve a one-match suspension and will be absent from the upcoming game against Udinese. Furthermore, both Napoli and Cagliari have been fined €30,000 each due to an incident involving their fans during their match. Atalanta has also been fined €3,000 after supporters threw two plastic bottles onto the pitch in their game against Fiorentina.
It’s worth noting that the Serie A match between Cagliari and Napoli was interrupted for seven minutes in the first half due to fan unrest. The clash began after a provocative banner from Napoli’s supporters led to objects being thrown between the fans.
Roma’s start to the season has been disappointing, with the team failing to secure a win in any of their four Serie A games. They have only scored two goals and are currently 16th in the standings. This poor performance has put head coach Daniele De Rossi’s position in jeopardy.
