Milan star Kyle Walker is following in the footsteps of English football legend David Beckham. The English defender has signed a contract with Hugo Boss to become their new underwear model, according to The Sun.
The campaign is set to launch next month, with Walker reportedly earning a six-figure sum for his role.
A source close to Walker shared, “He’s really excited about this opportunity and can’t contain his enthusiasm. While he has been reluctant to do anything like this before because he doesn’t like the spotlight, things are different now. He’s enjoying his time at AC Milan and is focused on reaching 100 caps for England. But he’s also thinking ahead, with an eye on life beyond football.”
It’s worth noting that Walker’s move mirrors that of David Beckham, who also modeled for Hugo Boss and played for Milan. Interestingly, Walker has taken the number 32 shirt at Milan, the same number Beckham wore during his time at the Italian club.
“Kyle saw what Beckham did and wants to follow in his footsteps, creating something beyond football,” the source added.
