Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty in the UEFA Nations League quarter-final against Denmark.
The Al-Nassr forward faced Danish goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel in the sixth minute. Ronaldo attempted a weak shot to Schmeichel’s right, which the goalkeeper easily saved.

This miss marked Ronaldo’s 32nd penalty failure in his career. In the current season, he has missed two penalties, including one in the Saudi King’s Cup match against Al-Taawoun in October 2024.
Despite this, the legendary forward has converted far more penalties, scoring 173 out of 205 attempts for an impressive accuracy rate of 84%.
