Nottingham Forest have officially parted ways with head coach Ange Postecoglou following their crushing home defeat to Chelsea. The 3–0 loss on October 18 was the final straw for the club’s board, who decided to make a swift change in leadership.
Postecoglou took charge on August 31, succeeding Nuno EspÃrito Santo after a defeat to West Ham. However, the Australian’s tenure was short and disappointing — he oversaw eight matches, failing to secure a single win, with two draws and six losses.
The club has already begun exploring replacements. Early contenders for the job reportedly include Marco Silva of Fulham, former Forest boss Steve Cooper, and Sean Dyche.
