Manchester City advanced to the FA Cup semifinals with a 2-1 comeback victory over Bournemouth.
Although the team’s captain missed his third penalty of the season in the first half, he made up for it early in the second half. In the 49th minute, Haaland connected with O’Riley’s cross to bring the score level.
According to the stats portal Opta Joe, Haaland became the first player to score at least 30 goals in all competitions in each of his first three seasons with a Premier League club, a milestone previously achieved by Ruud van Nistelrooy from 2001-04 with Manchester United.
Next, Manchester City will face Nottingham Forest in the semifinals, set for April 26-27.
